I am an economics student, in Paris. I just discovered Anwar Shaikh. I'm looking forward to read his book. Does anyone known about a study group in France or is interested in creating one?

Capitalism Study Group
Hello everyone,
We students at The New School for Social Research are starting a study group for Shaikh's 2016 Capitalism book. We expect to be going through one chapter a month beginning in February 2024, then convene on Zoom to discuss our readings once a month.
This will give us ample time to read and digest the text as closely as we see fit. The book is 17 chapters long, so, if we proceed at this pace, we will make our way fully through the book in about a year and a half. If you miss a month or meeting, this is no problem. You will have ample time to catch up to the rest of the group and rejoin the discussion.

We have a study group based in New York that is now on Chapter 10 of Shaikh's book. There are a few members based in London and Central Europe. I am sure there will be interest for your group if you decide to start it. Thank you for your interest!
